Hiking in Todtmoss and surroundings
In Todmoos and the surrounding area, many hiking trails invite you to explore nature.
Toodmooser
waterfall
The Todtmoos Waterfalls are located between the Todtmoos districts of Hintertodtmoos and Rütte. The Rüttebach falls in several cascades about 40 meters into the depths. The highest single waterfall is about 7 meters. A small path with a footbridge leads along the waterfall.
From the apartment it is only about a 30-minute walk there.

Todtmoos
This beautiful and scenic hiking tour is dedicated to the traditional Todtmoos gingerbread and takes visitors into the deep, untouched nature of the Southern Black Forest around Todtmoos. Culinary highlights, especially the traditional gingerbread, are offered as a snack in the cafes in the town center.

Spürnasenpfad
Todtmoos
The starting point for the trail is at the large car park in Todtmoos-Strick, the trail leads up to Kirchberg. From there, you enter the forest, where a total of ten artistically carved wooden figures await you. Climbing areas and small playhouses provide variety and allow for a break or a leisurely rest.
The trail continues on a wide path towards Todtmoos-Mättle, the path turning to the right takes you over the sledge slope back to the starting point.

Wanderung zur Wehraquelle
Follow the young Wehra along from Todtmoos through the wild and romantic Hohwehra Gorge over the wild path to the Wehra spring. This circular tour is an absolute highlight for the more demanding hiker who would like to climb a few metres in altitude and then reward themselves with a stop for refreshments in the town centre.

Gorge Trail
Todtmoos ist eine Station des Schluchtensteigs, der insgesamt 6 Etappen hat. Die 5. Etappe beginnt in St. Blasien und endet in Todtmoos. Schmale Pfade führen zu schönen Aussichtspunkten und wildromantischen Schluchten wie der Hohwehraschlucht.
Die 6. Etappe beginnt in Todtmoos und geht entlang der Wehra und endet in Wehr.
Coffee Trail
If you prefer something more leisurely and less strenuous, the "Coffee Trail" circular hiking tour is the perfect choice. Enjoy the wonderful landscape with a unique view over Todtmoos and treat yourself to a cup of coffee with a homemade Black Forest cake speciality on the terrace of the Hotel Rößle.
